Francis Monrovia, who is currently contesting for Macdonald Headman, last Saturday launched a water project to expand the water dam through the support of the Western Area Rural District Council (WARDC) chairman, Kasho Holland J. Cole.
In an interview after the launching of the project, Mr Monrovia said a lot of things had been missing, especially so when Madam Frances Williams (Headwoman) left office. According to him, he was campaigning under her symbol because she made a lot of good things happen in those communities.
Mr Monrovia informed the gathering that though he would work together with his kinsmen but that he would particularly dealt with the youths who had the energy for sustainable facelift of that part of the country if elected this April.
He commended the young people for the turnout to clear the water dam for the expansion work.
He noted that the expansion of the Kobba Farm Dam would cater for other communities as well, and commended the WARDC chairman who he engaged with regards to the constraints his people were going through to access drinking water.
According to the former Headman, Frances O. Williams, Macdonald was seriously challenged with regards to water at the moment. She pledged her support to Francis Monrovia who she said had done a lot for the various communities.
She noted that putting such an effort, including the involvement of the Council chairman, gave her a lot of confidence. She prayed that he succeeds as he had got the love and approval of the youths already.
