Brima Baluwa Koroma, the Director General of the National Petroleum Regulatory Authority (NPRA), is currently participating in the TICAD-2025 conference in Yokohama, Japan.
The plenary session was officially opened on Wednesday 20 August 2025 by H.E. Ishiba Shigeru, Prime Minister of Japan.
TICAD-2025 is focused on the promotion of Japan-African partnership through development. The session is co-chaired by Japan and Angola with several Heads of States across Africa including Ghana, Nigeria, South Africa, Kenya, Algeria, Zimbabwe Mozambique, Guinea, Senegal, Lesotho, Botswana and many more.
The theme for this year’s TICAD-2025 is “co-creating innovative solutions for sustainable development”.
Brima Baluwa Koroma will sit on the investment panel today, 22 August 2025, to present downstream opportunities for foreign direct investment at the Westin Yokohama Hotel.
