One of the aspirants for the position of National Organizing Secretary of the All People’s Congress (APC), Bai Mahmoud Bangura, has recently been endorsed by youth leaders and constituency women’s leaders in Kambia and Port Loko Districts during the Young People’s Congress and Women’s Congress elections respectively.

They described Bai Mahmoud Bangura as “the future hope of the party”, adding that he had sacrificed a lot for the APC as upon graduation from Fourah Bay College (FBC) he did not choose to look for a lucrative job but served at the party’s office as News Editor and later attained the position of deputy Managing Editor at a time when most of his colleagues were busy searching for greener pastures.

They also disclosed that as President of the National Youth League, Bai Mahmoud Bangura did not only foster peace among young people but served the League effectively.

Both the youth and women’s leaders asserted that one could hardly write the success story of the younger generation of APC supporters without mentioning Bai Mahmoud Bangura, noting that he played pivotal roles in NUAS, Constituency, District and Regional levels of the party.
