The Deputy Leader of the Opposition in Parliament, Honourable Daniel Brima Koroma, has raised concern through the Speaker of Parliament that the exchanging of just one mobile microphone among 149 Members of Parliament is not good as it might have some health hazards.

Hon. Daniel Koroma, of the All People’s Congress (APC) who is representing Koinadugu District, asked the Speaker of Parliament to do something about the dysfunctional table microphones which “are good for health reasons and convenient as well”.

The APC Member of Parliament raised this concern last Thursday in the well of parliament during the laying of paper of the National Budget Act 2025.

In response to Hon. Daniel Koroma’s concern, the Speaker of Parliament, Hon. Segepoh Solomon Thomas, asked the Clerk of Parliament to take note of the Deputy Leader of the Opposition’s concern. He then assured him that the entire leadership of parliament would look into that concern.
