In Kamakwie, northern Sierra Leone, Bombali District, Amadu Tejan Bah suffered molestation, intimidation and threats to his life to the extent that he ran away from his home and his whereabouts are still unknown.

It is understood that Amadu Tejan Bah, who was born on 10th October 1993 in Kamakwie, is a youth activist who has been very vocal in propagating youth affairs to the extent that he became a target for politicians who want him killed for reasons that are yet unknown.

However, it is understood that Amadu Tejan Bah after he was molested and his life threatened, sought legal advice. But after a few weeks, it became apparent that Amadu Tejan Bah could not seek redress in the Sierra Leone Courts and he was even declared wanted by some vigilantes in Kamakwie which led him to flee for his life.

During the August 10th, 2022 insurrection, Amadu Tejan Bah’s father was said to have been gunned down in what people later described as an attempt on Amadu Tejan Bah’s life but he was not around.

During this period, property worth millions of Leones were either carted away or destroyed by the insurrectionists whilst lives were lost.

To date, some of his relatives claimed that they are still being hunted by some vigilantes who are accusing them of aiding and abetting Amadu Tejan Bah whose whereabouts are still unknown.

His family is, however, optimistic and praying for the safety of Amadu Tejan Bah.
