Brima Baluwa Koroma, the Director General of the National Petroleum Regulatory Authority (NPRA), has met with the President of the World Petroleum Congress (WPC), Pedro Miras, at the ongoing World Petroleum Congress conference in Kuwait City.
During the conference, Baluwa Koroma had an engagement with Mr Pedro Miras on a wide range of issues. They shared together how the current global dynamics and trends directly affect individual domestic markets and the need to adopt policies that would meet these new realities. They both noted the core values of equity, partnerships, and collaborations.
Mr Miras assured Mr Baluwa Koroma that his focus would remain to foster meaningful initiatives that would support the sustained growth of the oil and gas industry globally. “WPC Energy will continue to focus on critical industry issues and explore emerging solutions, providing opportunities to member countries for business development”, he stated.
The conference provided the unique opportunity to engage with global oil & gas industry leaders here in Kuwait City in key areas of partnership in the upstream, midstream, and downstream oil and gas sector.
WPC Energy’s 60-member countries represent over 96% of the world’s petroleum production and consumption. WPC Energy has been the leading guide in the sector since 1933.
