The Leader and Presidential candidate of the All People’s Congress (APC), Dr Samura Mathew Wilson Kamara, on Sunday informed hundreds of thousands of APC supporters at the Brima Attouga Mini Stadium, east of the capital, that he had already won the June 24 general elections based on the poor performance of the Bio-led administration.
He stressed that the APC leadership would work assiduously in making sure that the Electoral Commission for Sierra Leone (ECSL) conduct the elections in a free and fair atmosphere.
Dr Samura Kamara insisted that the Sierra Leone People’s Party (SLPP) government had not only disappointed Sierra Leoneans but his supporters as well. He noted that a family of three or four could hardly afford basic needs in their respective homes because of skyrocketing prices of foodstuff due to “the kind of leadership we have in the country”.
The APC Presidential candidate also stated that because President Julius Maada Bio knew he had performed poorly in his five years’ rule, that’s why he had reduced himself to draw daggers with “Adebayor” because of his inability to solve “the bread and butter” issues as promised in his 2018 Manifesto.
