It was revealed on Wednesday this week at a press conference hosted by the Office of the Attorney General and Minister of Justice at the Ministry’s Lamina Sankoh Street conference room, in Freetown, how the former Vice President of the Republic of Sierra Leone, Alhaji Samuel Sam-Sumana, had wanted to cripple the country.

The press conference was jointly addressed by the Attorney General and Minister of Justice Mohamed Lamin Tarawalley; the Solicitor General Robert Baoma Kowa, and the Director of Public Prosecution (DPP) Easmon Ngaqui.

It was revealed how Alhaji Samuel Sam-Sumana had, through his lawyers, asked “Heads of State and Government of ECOWAS to impose sanctions against [The the Republic of Sierra Leone] through suspension of new community loans or assistance, suspension of disbursement on on-going community projects or assistance programmes, exclusion from presenting candidates for statutory and professional posts and suspension from participating in the activities of the community pending compliance with the Judgment of this honourable Court delivered on the 27th day of November, 2017”.
