The Freetown City Council (FCC) has started distribution of Property Rate and Business License Demand Notes!
It is reported that 65% of FCC’s budgeted revenue is from property rates and business licenses, so the delivery of services to its residents is dependent on the payment of property rates and business licenses by the city’s residents.
Last year’s compliance levels were low at 35% and 45% for Property Rates and Business Licenses respectively.
